I like how the concept of forced maturity, that you addressed in your prose, is caused by the traumatic incident, and it's quite the observation. It's clear that you observed Foer's writing style and ascertained that it was a specific choice in order to highlight a set of predictable reactions. However, the idea of not confronting the past as a solution to internal conflict, which is logical, seems to contradict other statements generally made that say internal conflict needs to be confronted in order to be minimized. Again, there is merit to the idea, and it is the view of the poet, but there is some doubt. Regardless, the way you stated that life follows a typical Bildungsroman with a lack of enlightenment is rather true, and well-defended by the example of Oskar. Truly remarkable!
